Whether you are new at ceramics, looking for a new hobby or have some experience and want to brush up on your skills this class will have something for you! The course focuses on wheel-thrown functional pottery but experimentation with handbuilding is encouraged as well. A variety of forms will be covered including cylinders, bowls, vases and more. Topics such as surface decoration, texture and glaze decoration as a means to personalize your work will be discussed as well. Open studio time outside of class is available.

This is an adult class for the potter who has had a little more experience and would like to explore more in depth techniques. Topics covered will be thrown and altered forms, enclosed / bottle forms and tips for controlling larger amounts of clay. At least two previous classes or equivalent experience required.
Sorry, there are no intermediate / advanced classes offered this session.Due to high demand and limited class sizes, a $50 deposit is required to hold a spot in a class. If all classes are full when we receive your deposit Warm Stone Studio will refund your deposit. Please note that when refunding a PayPal transaction the amount refunded will be $48.25, the deposit less the transaction fee.
Class Cancelations: If a class is canceled due to low enrollment, deposits will either be applied to another class time, if available, or refunded minus any transaction fees.
