Pottery Classes

Fundamentals of Wheelwork

Whether you are new at ceramics, looking for a new hobby or have some experience and want to brush up on your skills this class will have something for you! The course focuses on wheel-thrown functional pottery but experimentation with handbuilding is encouraged as well. A variety of forms will be covered including cylinders, bowls, vases and more. Topics such as surface decoration, texture and glaze decoration as a means to personalize your work will be discussed as well. Open studio time outside of class is available.

Intermediate/Advanced Wheelwork

This is an adult class for the potter who has had a little more experience and would like to explore more in depth techniques. Topics covered will be thrown and altered forms, enclosed / bottle forms and tips for controlling larger amounts of clay. At least two previous classes or equivalent experience required.

Children's Classes

Sorry, but no children's classes are currently being offered at Warm Stone Studio.

How to Enroll

Due to high demand and limited class sizes, a $50 deposit is required to hold a spot in a class.  The balance is due by the first class session.   To make signing up easier, Warm Stone Studio now accepts class registration deposits through PayPal.  Click the button below to pay your $50 class deposit.  

The balance of the class fee is due at the first class and can be paid by cash, check or credit card.

Please be sure to include your name, contact phone number and which class day you prefer in the comments field.

If you prefer, you can pay your class registration fee by mail.  Send your check or money order payable to Warm Stone Studio to 99 Factory St. Extension, Nashua, NH 03060.

Refunds

If all classes are full when we receive your deposit Warm Stone Studio will refund your deposit.  Please note that when refunding a PayPal transaction the amount refunded will be $48.25, the deposit less the transaction fee.  

Class Cancelations:  If a class is canceled due to low enrollment, deposits will either be applied to another class time, if available, or refunded minus any transaction fees.

Student Cancelations:  Any class fees paid will only be refunded if Warm Stone Studio is notified of the cancelation within 10 days of class start date.   For cancelations please contact the studio via telephone at 603-595-9500 or by email at leslie@warmstonestudio.com.  Cancelations not received within 10 days of class start date are non-refundable.
